Europe produces more than 1,8 billion of waste each year from household, and municipal waste have increased by almost 50% over 25 years. Waste Management provides a framework for end of life and property includes the stages of sorting, collection, transport, processing or storage. This waste can be of various origins: industrial, artisanal, domestic,...

This, in recent years Europe tightens its laws relating waste treatment. This sector has great potencial for job creation with a need for new channels of collection and recycling: toxic, waste electrical and electronic scrap cars...

The purpose of this European partnership will promote business waste treatment and skills, both by actors working in the industry (craftsmen, employees) as actors in search of jobs.

The project partners will participate in improving the quality of training provision. For this, they will seek to assess training needs and skills sought by businesses. They also propose methods and innovative ways of training that can enable the development of professionalism within the study area.
The axis will also include recognition of skills acquired.

The presence of various European countries will exchange experience in terms of referencing of trades waste particularly in conjunction with the European Qualifications Framework.

Goals of the project

  • valorisation of professions connected with waste treatment
  • realize the exploratory study concerning the educational needs and identifying the adequate skills/competencies
  • find out the innovative methods of education (e-learning)
  • reflection about creating of transnational education catalog (reference framework)
